Hutchens, Boninfante Join Forces for Bristol Motor Speedway
Saturday afternoon’s “Zombie Auto 125” will mark the 3rd stop for the 2017 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East season and Trey Hutchens fourth career start at the track nicknamed “The World’s Fastest Half Mile.”
“To say I am excited about heading to Bristol is an understatement. It is one of my favorite race tracks we go to and one I have fond memories of growing up.”
Hutchens run towards the Top-5 in last year’s race was cut short after an incident on a restart, but the NC State Freshman was still able to finish in the 13th position.
“Bristol is a place I feel my race team and I have always had speed and last year was no exception. We were quick in practice and parlayed that in to a strong effort in the race. I think we have a good chance to turn heads this weekend, I’m ready to get the Boninfante Friction/Heintz Performance Chevrolet on track.”
Saturday’s event will also be another chapter in the relationship between Trey Hutchens Racing and Boninfante Friction.
“I am extremely grateful to have partners such as Boninfante and it means the world to me to have them come back on board after working together last year. We got them their first Top-10 in NASCAR at New Hampshire and we are hoping for more come Saturday.”
